We believe in the healing power of hot and cold exposure for the mind and body – often called contrast therapy. Our goal at Teddy's Hot House is to make this age-old tradition available for all: no spa membership required, no intimidating fitness atmosphere, just good heat, cold water, and a strong community.
The Experience
Each 90-minute session takes you through the full contrast therapy ritual. Step into our 195°F traditional Finnish sauna, built from 100% magnolia wood and powered by two Harvia heaters loaded with over 500 lbs of stones. Feel the deep, even heat open your pores, loosen your muscles, and quiet your mind. When you're ready, step out to our outdoor shower and then drop into one of our Morozko Forge cold plunge tubs. Let the cold do its work. Cycle through as many rounds as you like – most guests find their rhythm by the second or third round.
This is contrast therapy the way it was meant to be done: with a real Finnish sauna, not infrared panels, and a cold plunge chilly enough to matter.

Whether you're a seasoned contrast therapy veteran or stepping into a sauna for the very first time, you'll find your footing here. Our regulars look out for newcomers, and the shared experience of doing something hard together has a way of making strangers feel like neighbors.

Alternating between heat and cold triggers a cascade of physical and mental benefits that athletes, biohackers, and wellness practitioners have relied on for centuries. Regular sauna and cold plunge sessions have been shown to support muscle recovery, reduce inflammation, improve circulation, boost mood through endorphin release, and promote deeper sleep. While everyone has a unique practice, we’ve put together the following contrast therapy protocol to help provide some guidance:
Heat up in our dry Finnish-style sauna. Settle into the discomfort and strive for 15 minutes of heat exposure, but as always, listen to your body!
Heat up
Jump in! After rinsing off in our outdoor shower take the plunge with the goal of submerging your shoulders and staying in for 30 seconds to 3 minutes.
Cool Down
Relax
Take a beat. After completing your first sauna + ice bath session you’ve earned a break. Take a seat, drink some water and get ready for round 2 or 3!
